К середине ноября прошлого года в Подмосковье установились приличные морозы. И в день выезда на первую подлёдную рыбалку сезона уже были доступны локации с щукой и окунем, но ставка была сделана на ротана! Захотелось половить его по первому льду, как и много лет назад, но…не на куриную шкуру, сало или мотыля, а на искусственные силиконовые приманки! Забегая вперед — всё получилось!
Немного предыстории. Уже почти 10 лет как я ловлю ротана на спиннинг. Начиналось всё с силиконовых червей и ловли методом «вэки», когда приманка посажена на крючок ровно поперёк и ловля происходит точечно, в окнах травы или в близи каких то укрытий, где ротан традиционно прячется. Позже освоил ловлю на воблеры минноу твичингом и теперь, традиционно в период запрета развлекаюсь такой рыбалкой на небольших дачных прудах и карьерах. Спиннинг я привёл в пример для того, чтобы отсечь все мнения о привязанности этой рыбы только к естественным насадкам. Как практика показала — ротан отлично ловится и на искусственные. Но, это летом, а что же зимой?
Этот вопрос и заставил меня пойти на эксперимент и открыть сезон именно с ловли этой рыбы. Тем более, что период перволедья — это время максимальной активности «головешки».
В тот день мы с Олегом Квициния приехали на небольшой пруд на рассвете. На льду уже находилось приличное количество рыбаков. Основная задача наша стояла снять видео для канала на YouTube, и уже в дороге мы выработали концепцию фильма — проведем сравнительный тест: я буду ловить только на искусственные приманки, а Олег будет пробовать на привычные съедобные насадки — куриную шкуру, сало и мотыля.
Не буду расписывать всю хронологию, вы можете её посмотреть на видео, на канале «ПРО рыбалку», но результаты меня порадовали и даже, в некотором роде поразили. Ротан отзывался на «резину» ничуть не хуже, чем на «мясо»! Больше того, размер рыбы на силикон за частую был интереснее.
Конечно же, нельзя отрицать особенность этой рыбы в тяге к запахам. Именно по этому основу моих приманок составлял не обычный силикон, а с фактором «съедобности». А если более конкретно — форелевые приманки с супер-насыщеными запахами сыра и чеснока. Когда подносишь такую банку с приманками к лицу — от запаха реально бъёт в нос! Я думаю, эта особенность форелевой «резины» имела большое значение.
Номер один стал червяк Lucky John Tipsy Worm на классической форелевой головке.. И здесь, стоит признать, с ловлей форели на резину зимой много общего. Приманка — понятно, но и проводка и сама снасть… Всё как с форелью, но в виде изюминки — жадные и мощные поклевки! Головешка в этом мастер!
Конечно, если ротана в водоёме много — по первому льду эта рыба клюет на всё подряд. Но, активность рыбы не может быть на пике в течение всего дня. Показательный момент в том, что когда активность клёва спала — пахучая форелевая резина продолжала работать на равне с любыми «мясными» насадками. Такой интересный и экспериментальный получился первый лёд в прошлом году. В грядущем сезоне продолжу развивать эту тему!
